VicFalls Connect is a community for sharing Victoria Falls travel experiences. This page explains, in plain language, what we store about you, who can see it, and how to get it removed.

In one sentence
We keep what you type on your profile and what you share in the community, your photos are publicly reachable, and you can change or remove any of it yourself.
What we store about you
- Your profile: the display name, profile photo, hometown, member type and short description you typed yourself.
- Your activity: the stories you post, your comments, your likes, the members you follow, and the posts you save.
- Nothing else. There is no password to store — you join with a display name and photo.
Your photos are public
- Photos you add to a post or to your profile are stored publicly. Each one gets a permanent public link that never expires, so anyone who has the link can open it.
- That means a photo you delete from a post may still be reachable by someone who already saved its direct link. Post only pictures you are comfortable being public.
- Only upload photos you took or have permission to share.
Who can see it
- Everything you post is visible to everyone using the community — travellers, locals and tour operators all share one feed.
- Your profile page shows your name, photo, hometown, description and the stories you have shared.
- Your saved posts and the list of members you follow are only shown to you.
What is kept in your browser
- Your member profile is stored in this browser so we can show your name and photo on the posts you write.
- Clearing your browser data removes that connection to your profile.
- We also record anonymous usage counts, such as how many posts are shared, with no personal detail attached.
Contact details
- We only ask for an email address if you contact us through the Support page, and only so that we can reply to you.
- Your email address is never shown to other members and never posted in the feed.
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Changing or removing your information
- You can change your display name, photo and description at any time on the Settings page.
- You can delete any of your own posts from the My Posts page.
- To close your account, or to have your profile and content removed, contact us on the Support page and we will do it.
Who can use the community
- VicFalls Connect is for people aged 13 and over. Members under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian.
- If we learn that a younger child has created a profile, we remove it.
Changes to this policy
- If how we handle your information changes, this page changes with it.
- The date below always shows the most recent version.
