Good to know before you go

  • Draw cash in town before anything out of town: the park, the gorge, the airport road and the border all run on cash.
  • SIM cards need your passport for registration, and the shops in town are the only places to bundle data properly.
  • Pharmacy hours are weekdays here. If you take a regular medication, bring it in its original packaging rather than counting on supplies.
  • Activity shuttles all meet in the same handful of places: your lodge driveway, the falls entrance car park and the Lookout jetty.
  • Pins are approximate meeting points, not exact gates or car parks. Tap a stop for directions and confirm the spot with your driver.
